Welcome to our new website! We are so excited to share with you the new ministry for women at McKnight Road church of Christ.
As we began searching for ways to minister to the women at McKnight, we felt strongly that we should begin by offering more opportunities for women to grow together in friendship and in love. Women can always use more friends and with that in mind, we began planning fabulous activities and events that would encourage those new friendships to grow. (You can see some of them in our Calendar of Events, but there are many more to come!) We believe love overcomes our mistakes (BLOOM) and so following the commands of Jesus in John 13:34-35, we began preparing a ministry that not only fosters friendship, but allows women in our community to experience the healing love of God.
Now we encourage each of you to be ambassadors for Christ by bringing your girlfriends with you to our events and to join us in our service projects so that we might continually be showing the love of Christ to our community. "By this all men (and women!) will know that you are my disciples." We hope that you will come grow with us and help us to encourage one another to BLOOM!

Sunday Morning Women's Bible Class

Sunday mornings this summer will be an exciting opportunity to study God's Word together. Our new women's Bible class will be exploring the Holy Spirit and it's fruit in our lives. Please grab your friends and make plans to join us in this refreshing time of study and fellowship each Sunday morning starting in June. We'll be in Room 301. See you there!

Groups in Bloom !

Each month our small Bloom Groups meet to play and share a common interest together. We currently have two Bloom Groups meeting and one new group starting in June.

Scrapbookers/Stampers
This group is led by Wendy M. and Karen T. They meet each month at the building on a Friday night from 5-11. Bring your scrapbooks or other craft projects and a snack to share with the group. Occassionally the leaders will host a technique class, so please contact them if you are interested in learning more about this craft.

June 20th - Scrapbook Night at church

Hiking Group
Led by Erin G. This group of gals love to explore nature together. Join them one Saturday each month as they tackle a new trail in our area. This group is taking a break.

Weight Loss Group
Led by Heather S. we'll be starting this summer and meet once a month to discuss our progress and share helpful tips to encourage each other in our efforts.

First meeting: Thurs. June 19th We'll meet in a classroom off the gym from 7-8pm. Come ready to chat about your goals and meet a few new friends!

Bible Study Groups
Tuesday Ladies' Class is led by Carol H. and meets at the building on Tuesday mornings at 10am on the 4th level. Childcare is provided for free. Classes run Oct-May. Check back this fall for more information.

Working Women's Group Led by Kathryn Collett, this group is for all of you who need a little girl-time after a long day of work. We meet the first Monday of each month. Please join us. We want all of you who are interested in this group to join us, and bring a friend! If you will need childcare for this event, please let us know at hsutherlin@gmail.com
